Energy Data Management Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll support our different business areas across our global footprint, performing financial activities and securing the revenue streams through managing and controlling the energy data that is the basis for all power sales.


Welcome to Global Revenue Services
You’ll be part of the Global Contract Solutions team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the monthly settlement of energy contracts by securing energy data for all assets is available and correct. You’ll be cooperating with internal and external stakeholders to understand the market rules and data requirements for each country and work in close cooperation with our IT developers to make production data available for settlements. You’ll work in one of three small scrum teams consisting of finance and IT people with colleagues located across Poland, Denmark, and Malaysia. As a team, we actively work on a team culture where we support and take care of each other and where questions are always welcomed and encouraged. Learning new skills is a part of the job and curiosity is a must.


You’ll play an important role in:

  • controlling settlement volumes to ensure they are correct and that we receive credit for all produced power
  • working with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot when errors in volumes occurs
  • working with local transmission system operators to understand market rules and requirements
  • driving the development and implementation of automatic solutions to access and share official production volumes in close cooperation with business and IT colleagues in the scrum team
  • building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders to understand energy management data needs and interests across our organisation.


To succeed in the role, you:

  • have an interest in working with data management
  • hold a bachelor in the financial or IT related field
  • have good communication skills and thrive cooperating closely with colleagues in different locations and with different cultures
  • speak and write English fluently with knowledge of German being a plus
  • preferably have experience working with European or US energy markets.
