Senior Media Relations Advisor

Imagine a future where you'll be part of a strong communication team working to create a world that runs on green energy

Join us in this role where you'll be part of an inspiring environment at the world's most sustainable energy company, communicating about the green transformation, reliable energy supply, and other important agendas that are closely followed by Danish and international media.

Welcome to Global External Comms
You’ll be part of Global Media Relations where you, together with your colleagues, will work to advance our agendas, and provide advice on communications for some of the world's largest renewable energy projects across three continents in an international environment. We're looking for a strong communications expert for a 10-months parental leave cover. As a team, we have a supportive and collaborative environment where every member is encouraged to embrace learning opportunities and share their perspectives. We value open communication and maintain an informal tone that makes for a dynamic and friendly workplace.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • preparing press releases, company announcements, and briefing notes, primarily in English
  • handling enquiries from Danish and international media
  • collaborating with international communication colleagues, Investor Relations, and other group functions to ensure that messages are aligned across markets
  • maintaining a close dialogue with colleagues from various departments to find and communicate news from the business
  • advising our media spokespersons.

To succeed in this role, you’ll:

  • have experience with media relations and issues management, e.g. from an international company, a political party, or an industrial body
  • are able to work independently as an advisor for your own business areas in a complex matrix organisation and excel in driving processes
  • are a strong communicator who can turn complex information into clear messages
  • have a systematic approach to your tasks with an eye for detail
  • have a master’s degree in communication, business administration, political science, or similar
  • are proficient in speaking and writing English and Danish at an advanced business level.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
