Junior Analyst

Join us in this role where you’ll contribute with your knowledge and experience in trade matching and regulatory reporting for our commodity trading on different markets. Additionally, you’ll work on data preparation, data validation, and data issue investigation in one of the world’s most sustainable companies.

You’ll be part of Trading Back Office where you, together with your colleagues, will primarily support our market trading business and secure correct transactions processing in line with the market regulations.  As a team, we work with colleagues at multiple locations, share knowledge and embrace learning opportunities every day.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • confirming commodity trades with external and internal counterparties
  • ensuring proper transactions reporting according to REMIT, EMIR and SFTR regulations
  • preparing and executing data reconciliation
  • ensuring correct brokers confirmation
  • supporting improvement and optimisation of the processes, including contributing to optimising the supporting IT systems.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor or a master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, or similar
  • have experience with Excel and preferably with Openlink Endur or other ETRM system
  • have detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks and are capable of handling complex cases
  • preferably have experience working for an energy company and/or with energy trading
  • speak and write English fluently.
