Test Automation Engineer

Welcome to Custom Applications Competency Centre 
You’ll be part of OBS ART where you, together with your colleagues, will support our agile release train (ART) in digitalisation, in delivering business value through automation of offshore wind farm settlements, and in ensuring smooth IT operations.  

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • being part of a scrum team working closely with the business on delivering value and analysing business requirements to prepare automation 

  • driving test automation activities – designing the test automation framework and developing automated test suites 

  • taking an active role in maintaining, enhancing, and customising existing applications and systems 

  • contributing to the high quality of an overall solution, including exploratory, integration, and performance testing 

  • preparing and providing test results from automation runs and analysing test results to recommend corrective actions and manage product and project risks. 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • have extensive quality assurance experience within software test automation 

  • have experience in the Selenium framework or similar 

  • have programming skills in Python and proficiency with Angular; knowledge of SQL is nice to have 

  • understand concepts such as REST APIs, SPAs, clean code, DevOps and are familiar with git 

  • preferably have an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Qualification or have TMap® Suite Test Engineer Certification.
