Welcome to Cloud & Digital Workplace Engineering 
You’ll be part of Software Management where you, together with your colleagues, will work and collaborate with the global Digital Workplace department which currently supports workplace, communication, and collaboration technologies, software packaging, mobile device management, and print solutions.  

 

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • creating/handling software packages in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly System Center Configuration Manager) and deployment based on AD groups 

  • wrapping EXE/MSI files into scripted solutions (software packages) that meet company requirements 

  • maintaining service quality levels by managing incidents, problems, and changes to the service efficiently and effectively, following the agreed and documented processes 

  • leading or facilitating discussions, investigations, and tasks related to Software and EndPoint Management to ensure the highest availability, stability, and integrity of both deliveries 

  • executing routine Windows patch management and clean-up jobs in the client and distribution environment. 

 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • have a bachelor’s degree in computer software engineering, computer science, or a related field 

  • have experience in software packaging/scripting, software deployment/distribution across domains, and with managing stakeholder requirements on an enterprise scale 

  • have solid experience resolving issues related to Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS client management, PC, SCCM, Group Policy, and Active Directory 

  • possess a good understanding of and have experience with PowerShell scripting and packaging tools such as InstallShield, Master Packager, Orca, etc. 

  • are able to demonstrate a logical mindset, are comfortable collaborating with global customers/stakeholders, and are a team player  

  • are passionate about creating and documenting knowledge articles and processes.
