Heads of Electrical System Integration Project Management and HV Cables Project Management

Join us in one of these senior manager roles where you’ll be a key member of the Electrical Project Management leadership team, with functional responsibility for the recruitment and development of a team of up to 20 permanent or consultant Electrical Project Managers.

As head of Electrical System Integration Project Management, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the function retains the capacity to lead the design and delivery of grid code compliant electrical systems for all our asset projects. As head of HV Cables Project Management you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the function retains the capacity to lead the design, manufacturing, and installation of subsea and onshore HV cable solutions for all our asset projects.

Welcome to Electrical Project Management
You’ll be part of the Electrical Project Management leadership team and refer to the head of Electrical Project Management. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that the Electrical Project Management function retains the people, tools, systems, processes to deliver on time, a cost effective and grid code compliant electrical system for our offshore wind farms, energy storage systems, and other transmission system connected technologies.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • holding responsibility for the recruitment and functional management of electrical project managers
  • developing team members’ professional competences and undertaking yearly performance and salary reviews
  • maintaining and developing concepts, tools, and processes while implementing lessons learned
  • ensuring continuous development and improvement of the department’s performance
  • contributing to the strategic and operational development of the Electrical Project Management function to ensure a high level of job satisfaction and motivation within the team.
     

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are motivated through providing functional leadership to a team of high-performing project managers
  • have a proficient level of experience as a project manager on large, complex, and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
  • have a strong understanding of the design and construction management of electrical transmission systems or high voltage subsea cable solutions
  • have excellent communication and influencing skills and can develop effective networks within a company and across an industry
  • are innovative and capable of developing solutions to problems, within the context of the strategic drivers of the business.

Please note that you’re expected to do some travelling in relation to your work, as you’ll have a team situated mainly in our Gentofte and London offices, but also executing projects in the US and APAC, along with the UK and Europe. It is expected that you’ll need to travel to our office locations regularly and to site locations on an annual basis during the construction period.
