The future energy mix has changed dramatically, and the UK has set ambitious targets to reach Net Zero by 2050
This will require a huge change to infrastructure in the UK – as well as how customers procure and use energy moving forward – and this is likely to require greater amount of investment in innovation by suppliers to support customers in the future.
Our vision is a ‘World run entirely on green energy’, and as such our future strategic focus and investment lies in expanding, scaling and supporting wind power development in the best way possible within the UK and wider global footprint. That is where we feel we can make the biggest contribution and where we will concentrate the majority of our investments moving forward.
To support this vision we exited the UK supply market for both gas and power at the end of 2022.
