Ørsted has partnered with the RNLI since 2015, helping to fund the lifeboat running costs of several lifeboat stations close to Ørsted’s offshore wind farm locations.

The next phase of our partnership will focus on supporting the training of its crews at seven lifeboat stations over the next two years to help the charity continue their invaluable work.

Horizon Youth Zone, Grimsby

We have partnered with Onside's Horizon Youth Zone in Grimsby to provide a safe space for young people to go in their leisure time. The facility will offer long-term opportunities to learn, inspire and develop skills through positive activities and support from peers, youth workers and partner organisations.

We are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we construct and operate our offshore wind farms in the UK. So far, we have awarded over £9.5 million to more than 650 local social and environmental projects along the East and West coasts.

2023 Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k

We’re delighted to continue our support of the Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k. The race, regularly sees between 3,000-4,000 runners hit the streets of Grimsby on the UK’s east coast.
