Senior Project Manager with vast tender experience

Join us in this role where you’ll manage and drive strategic tender projects within our Application Customisation & Operations IT Product Line (ACO IPL), ensuring compliance, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery across a diverse application landscape.

 

Welcome to ACO IPL and the IT Project Management team
You’ll be part of the Competency Centre for IT project managers where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver high-impact projects across Ørsted’s global IT landscape. You’ll work in a matrix organisation, where you’ll be anchored in a central project management team while delivering into business-led initiatives across IT and operations.

Your first assignments in Ørsted will be driving tenders for the ACO IPL, which manages a substantial portfolio of over 600 applications serving both enterprise-wide and specific business domains of different size and complexity.

While the initial focus will be on tender-related projects, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to broader IT initiatives across Ørsted, including for example implementation and process optimization.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading and coordinating EU and SKI tender processes from initiation to contract award
  • facilitating and ensuring the documentation of functional requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • ensuring project traction and structured execution across multiple delivery streams
  • managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a complex organisational landscape
  • using Azure DevOps (ADO) to track progress and maintain transparency
  • contributing to the continuous knowledge sharing within the Competency Centre.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive experience managing tenders, including SKI and EU frameworks, in large organisations
  • have a proven track record of successfully led complex IT projects
  • are confident navigating matrix organisations and working across business and IT delivery teams
  • demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all organisational levels
  • are proficient in agile methodologies (SAFe knowledge is a plus) and project tracking tools like ADO
  • hold a relevant certification such as IPMA B/C, PMP or PRINCE2, or equivalent experience.
