You’ll be part of APAC Team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of our commercial strategies in Korea’s power markets while supporting the development of bid(s) and coordination of potential joint ventures (JVs). This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of revenue optimization, market entry, and asset management within the renewable energy sector.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Understanding the power markets in Korea, including certificates, support mechanisms, market regulations, and other revenue related matters
- Developing and contribute to shaping revenue inputs and related regulations through external stakeholder engagement
- Developing, building support for, and execute bid strategies which focus on customers' current and future needs and differentiate us from competitors
- Building strong and productive relationships with internal stakeholders, potential partners, and relevant third parties
- Negotiating revenue related contract or agreement with counter party
- Driving alignment between our company and potential future partners to achieve joint goals and milestones, working closely with project management team
- Managing approval processes, partner communications, and governance structures
- Organizing and run Board Meetings and Steering Committees, including preparation of materials and securing approvals
- Ensuring timely sharing of deliverables, proper record keeping, and accessibility of information for all stakeholders
- Setting up and maintain tools and processes that enable effective governance and collaboration
- Collaborating with M&A team on financing and partnership related process
To succeed in the role, you:
- Fluent in both English and Korean
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to assess and improve project economics
- Proven experience in energy markets, preferably renewable energy
- Background in development, investment banking, finance, or complex bid management
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with a competitive spirit and desire to deliver results
- Experience working with joint ventures or partnerships is highly desirable
