About REnescience Northwich
REnescience Northwich is a brand new facility, which will recover resources from waste and generate renewable electricity through treatment with enzymes, mechanical sorting and anaerobic digestion. The plant will treat up to 120,000 tonnes of waste per year using DONG Energy’s patented REnescience technology, which is very efficient at capturing organic materials and can help to increase recycling rates by extracting clean materials such as plastic bottles. REnescience is a safe, reliable technology that does not involve waste incineration.
