Ørsted launches next round of £255,000 Skills Fund

Get ready to power up your community with Ørsted's latest £255,000 Skills Fund. Ørsted is on the hunt for organisations to deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) training, education courses, or standout events.

  • £255,000 is up for grabs across three funds in Lancashire and Cumbria, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and Norfolk and Suffolk.
  • Apply for grants starting at £10,000 to help bring ideas to life.
  • Deadline for applications: 2 April. Winners revealed in early June.

The Skills Funds have already sparked change with over £1.5M granted to 70+ projects. Imran Nawaz, Ørsted’s Senior Advisor and Community Benefit Manager, said: “STEM is key to our future, and we're excited to support the next wave of scientists and engineers. Share your innovative STEM ideas for 2025 with us and apply for funding to bring them to life. We’re excited to hear your ideas.”
