Senior Analyst

Imagine a future where you support the execution of Commercial Partnership and M&A opportunities in alignment with our strategic objective.

Join us in this role where you’ll support commercial partnerships and M&A in the US and worldwide across primary renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, and storage, as well as supporting expansion technologies, including small solar and hydrogen. In parallel, you’ll develop your knowledge of key value drivers and risks within different parts of the business.

You’ll be part of a growing team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the diligence process in identified opportunities, as well as the approval and execution of those processes. As a team, we take part in external-facing communication and participate in opportunities to develop relationships with external transaction counterparties.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting key workstreams in the structuring, execution, and negotiation of economic and non-economic terms of commercial partnership and M&A transactions for the Americas and our global pipeline
  • supporting and leading economic analysis via project modeling, scenario analysis, and coordination with third-party advisors and investors
  • supporting internal resources leading the due diligence process across the organization and overview of the associated project timeline
  • independently supporting and coordinating across internal functional groups, third-party financing parties, and outside advisors, in order to drive successful execution
  • proactively identifying key value drivers, binary transaction issues, and proposing solutions to de-risk transactions and optimize value
  • forming recommendations, drafting execution plans, preparing materials, and coordinating the process for Americas Investment Committee approval processes where appropriate.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have two to five years of experience in Finance and/or M&A, with proven experience in utility-scale wind, solar, or battery storage projects and transactional execution experience
  • have superior analytical and financial modeling skills
  • have expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • have experience in preparing presentation materials for executive leadership teams.
