Student assistant - Portfolio Management

You’ll be part of the Portfolio Management team where you, together with your colleagues, will drive the long-term agenda for gas, either natural gas, biogas, or hydrogen, in the future energy system. You’ll be part of a highly skilled and dynamic team who enjoy a fun and challenging working environment, and work with many stakeholders across the organization. Please note there are two open positions for Student Analysts within Europe Gas. This position is more technical than the other, so please ensure that you apply for the appropriate position.

You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting numerical analysis of various energy products and contracts
- conducting market analysis and providing portfolio insights
- streamlining and automating processes, utilizing tools such as Python to enhance efficiency and productivity
- assisting in preparation of presentations and other material for people leaders.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are currently studying within the areas of economics, finance, engineering, or similar, ideally with more than two years left of your studies
- have a keen interest in energy markets and trading
- possess an analytical and structured approach to work tasks and are interested in working with tools such as Python and PowerBI
- are self-driven, proactive, and can work independently
- have strong collaborative skills and enjoy a flexible and varied work environment.
